The image features relatively high-intensity noise, which covers up the colour banding but also introduces a fair amount of bad-encoded noise. Besides, there is also slight aliasing present around the lines. We first performed descaling and reconstruction, next evaluated the colour banding, and then based on its results adaptive de-banding was carried out. The bad-encoded noise was weakened afterwards and replaced with dynamic grains of equal intensity to improve the viewing experience.
