However, the upscaling algorithms for each season are quite variable, which caused the lines with more or less blurring, aliasing and ringing. Through rescaling and slight anti-aliasing, we successfully fixed these issues. Some static endcards feature serious aliasing due to downscaling. We separately adopted a better neural network algorithm to reconstruct these images. The banding issues in each season are also different. The later the season is, the fewer banding issues there are. Fortunately none of it was difficult to fix, and we used an adaptive de-banding method to remove them. Some of the dynamic scenes in the whole series, especially the OP parts, have serious problems such as bad-encoded lines, DCT noise, blocking, etc. We used another neural network algorithm to fix these scenes separately, which can be seen in Screenshots Pair 1 and 6. 旋转少女 / THE ROLLING GIRLS / Rolling☆Girls BDRip 内封评论音轨。 Embedded commentary tracks. 原盘画质一般，原生分辨率为 720p，线条有明显的低分辨率劣质拉伸带来的锯齿和模糊，此外部分背景线条还有额外锯齿，少数场景有轻微色带。我们使用逆向拉伸重构，配合进一步的抗锯齿和去晕轮处理来优化线条。最后进行轻微的去色带和自适应降噪处理，并针对动态噪点进行削弱来控制码率。由于本片作画强度高，动态场景丰富，给的码率较为充足。 The image quality of the source is about average, featuring a native resolution of 720p. The lines display aliasing and bluriness, typical result of a low native resolution and a poor upscaling algorithm used. Aliasing was also observed in the background lines, too. In addition, a few scenes suffer from mild colour banding. We applied descaling and reconstruction, accompanied by anti-aliasing and de-ringing to improve the lines. PP was finalized by using slight de-banding and adaptive de-noising, which reduced a certain amount of dynamic noice to control the bitrate.
