We have descaled and reconstructed the image, with additional anti-aliasing to remedy the line art. We have also applied stronger de-banding in specific scenes as needed. Thanks to them for elaborating Chinese subtitles. 原盘画质一般，主要问题在于其线条有着明显低分率拉伸带来的锯齿，此外还伴随着后期锐化带来的晕轮。原盘原生分辨率为 800p，我们采用逆向拉伸重构来处理线条，然后配合适度的抗锯齿和去晕轮，在保留锐度的情况下很好地去除了锯齿和晕轮。色带方面，只有极个别场景有轻微色带，因此我们仅采用保底的去色带手段。最后进行常规自适应锐化与降噪，并针对文字部分进行特殊保护。 The original source is of average quality. The main problem is that the line-art shows obvious aliasing caused by low-resolution upscaling, and haloing caused by sharpening in post-production. The native resolution is 800p. We applied descaling to restructure the line-art with moderate anti-aliasing and anti-haloing. The aliasing and haloing were well removed while retaining sharpness. In terms of banding, there are only a few scenes with slight banding and therefore milder de-banding was used. Season 1 and some episodes from Season 2 have a native resolution of around 714.75p. The rest are 720p. We applied matrix inversion to descale the image down to its native resolution, then used high-quality reconstruction algorithms. This eliminated the aliasing and also improved the line art. Occasionally some colour bands can be seen in the dark scenes. We removed as many of them as possible while doing little damage to the textures. PP finished with adaptive de-noising. The movie has an outstanding picture quality.
