The main problems are aliasing and very strong ringing around the line edges. The web source actually doesn't show this type of ringing, so it's hard to imagine what "great optimization" have been used in the making of the Blu-rays. We would have considered using the web source as the source, if only Netflix could stream it at a reasonably higher bitrate.
