We took advantage of Waifu2x to reconstruct the line art in the chroma planes to fix it without losing sharpness. Also, we have fixed some mild aliasing and ringing of the line art in the luma plane, as well as the bright lines around the image borders caused by upscaling in the source. The source has very heavy noise, which is also partially crushed in the dark area, and there is a serious problem of color banding under the noise coverage. Our processing method is descaling and reconstruction, and then applying a more intense de-banding.
